Vettubes™ - Straight ET Tubes

As a veterinarian, have you ever wondered why endotracheal tubes are actually bent? The answer is very simple: Because they are made for the human market and the anatomy of a human throat requires a bend in the tube. But this has changed for veterinary applications . Vettubes are the first in the European market, offering a disposable endotracheal tube specially made for small pets, the most important feature of which is that it is straight! Actually very logical, because when you intubate a pet you stretch the neck and thus the throat area and the pharynx, larynx and trachea lie in an almost straight line. With a straight tube, intubation is easier and there is less chance of damage to the sensitive tissue in this area. And not only that, there is also less chance of damage to the tube itself because it is much easier to manipulate along the sometimes very sharp teeth and molars.
