Safety Pressure Relief Valve - JD Medical

In response to numerous customer requests for additional patient safety without the possibility of toxic anesthetic agent exposure resulting from accidental pop-off closure or equipment malfunction, JD Medical has developed the Safety Pressure Relief Valve.

Available in both standard (20cm/H2O) and ventilator (30cm/H2O) models, this device automatically relives patient circuit pressure in the anesthesia circle by opening at the preset pressure, venting the excess gases directly into the scavenger system and not into the air, keeping both the patient and the operating staff safe.

The Safety Pressure Relief Valve attaches directly to the directional valve of the anesthesia machine and the exhaust connects with a flexible tube to the scavenging connection.
